Acadian
Village comes alive the first three weeks of December for Noel Acadien
au Village. Entertainment includes area musicians, choirs, choruses, bands and much more. Every night kids of all ages can have their photo taken
with Santa - and receive it on the spot for a nominal charge. **Please note that we do not have an ATM machine.**
Christmas
Depot, the New Orleans Company responsible for lighting the entire
Village, said that it takes 10-12 people, nearly 2,000 man-hours,
to complete the job. Tim Fitzpatrick of Christmas Depot starts in
September strategizing for the massive undertaking.
Food
from area vendors including hot chocolate is served nightly. Need
to get some last minute shopping done? Not a problem, take a stroll
through our General Store, Art Gallery, Le Magasin au Noel or visit the arts and crafts booths set up
inside and outside the Cox Pavilion.
Feelin' lucky? Then enter in our raffle to win spectacular prizes or try your luck in Santa's Grab bag for an early gift from Santa.
